In a recent visit (on 8th October,2024 Tuesday) to the University of Scholars (UoS), BuildNation (BN) initiated discussions aimed at exploring potential collaborations to enhance the placement oriented education in Bangladesh. Both organizations share a common goal: to develop programs that equip students with practical, job-ready skills to meet the demands of the evolving workforce. This meeting is an important step toward forging a partnership that could create new educational opportunities and placement prospects for students.
During the visit, Md. Ariful Hoque Shuhan, Vice Chairman of UoS, led the discussions, highlighting UoS’s ongoing commitment to education. Mr. Shuhan emphasized on their undergraduate and postgraduate programs (CSE, EEE, TEXTILE, ENGLISH, BBA and MBA), aligning with industry needs, especially in fields like computer science, electrical engineering and automation. UoS is actively focused on developing courses that lead to real-world employment. BuildNation expressed interest in leveraging these facilities for international collaborations and the development of new upskilling courses jointly.
BuildNation’s representatives Mr. Mahtab Ahmed (Managing Director), Mr. Hadi Bhuiyan (Head of Placement Program and Product) and Mr. Neheem Mahtab (Head of Global Program) outlined their business vertical and several ideas for collaboration that fits with the University of Scholars ecosystem perfectly and suggested further discussions on how to expand other opportunities as well.
